This role is pivotal in driving our brand’s narrative, expanding our market presence, and enhancing our stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience writing business communications and a proven track record of developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies that align with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Marketing and Communications Strategies
- Oversee Corporate Marketing development and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, social media and events
- Develop and maintain communication strategy for crisis response and act as the company’s spokesperson in emergency situations.
- Manage public relations efforts, including press releases, media inquires, conferences, and industry presentations to elevate company’s profile in the renewable energy space.
- Oversee the creation and management of marketing content, such as website updates, newsletters, social media content, email campaigns, and other promotional materials.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistency in brand messaging and representation across all marketing channels, supporting the company’s long-term strategic vision.
- Event Planning and Event Sponsorship
- Provide oversight for materials presented to the board, ensuring they are clear, consistent, aligned with the company’s strategic messaging and on time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing and communications, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and impactful messages.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and communications strategies.
- Experience managing marketing and communications budgets and tracking performance metrics.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, tools and techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical and reasoning abilities combined with sound business acumen.
- Energy industry experience preferred.
